Welcome to Saturday Senior Softball Association. (SSSA).

Our mission is to provide fun through playing recreational Senior Softball for men and women 55 years and up.

Our League began in April 2017 when a group of 55/up seniors got together and decided to play a weekly softball game. Fields were booked, players recruited, permits arranged and before we knew it, we were playing softball.

 

We play “pick-up” games which means each week players confirm via our website their availability to play on Saturday. All games are organized and players wear yellow ROOSTER or red TIGER shirts. The commissioner or his representative makes up fair and balanced teams and posts them on the website section SSSA NEWS by Friday morning @ 9:00 AM. 

 

Most games are played @ Caloosa Park on 35th street and Congress Ave., Boynton Beach. Alternative fields including John Prince, Park Vista and Civic Center are used during summer.

 

Batting practice begins 8:30 AM and game time is 9:00 AM. If you enjoy playing Senior Softball then contact SSSA for a try out. Check out summer schedule.
